Abstract
We present SRM-TFRC, an SRM based congestion control scheme for reliable multicast. Based on the feedback mechanism of SRM, it achieves the goal of TCP friendliness using rate-based regulation and taking the approach of TFRC´s idea. We propose the strategy of weighted average to solve the issue of Drop-to-Zero, in which Worst Receiver Set is created to keep track of current worst receivers and the sender´s rate is determined by the weighted average of the feedback value of these receivers. SRM-TFRC is implemented on the NS network simulator and the paper presents the simulation results on its performance
