Using Tropos to model quality of service for designing distributed systems

In this article we show how we use a relatively new agent-oriented modeling language, Tropos, to model quality of service (QoS) in distributed systems. The advantage of Tropos is that, in addition to the traditional system modeling phases, it has a special emphasis on modeling early phase requirements of a system. We have used a case study to demonstrate our solution.
