Abstract
In this article we show how we use a relatively new agent-oriented modeling language, Tropos, to model quality of service (QoS) in distributed systems. The advantage of Tropos is that, in addition to the traditional system modeling phases, it has a special emphasis on modeling early phase requirements of a system. We have used a case study to demonstrate our solution. In this work we demonstrate with the help of an example how QoS in distributed systems can be modeled by extending the dimensions of an agent-oriented ontology
