  • Abstract
Space-time adaptive processing technique is an adaptive processing scheme in both space and time, which could suppress broadband jammer effectively. STAP at subarray level for phased array is studied. The structure of subarray level STAP is analyzed and the signal model is presented. The space-time covariance matrix and steering vector are constructed. Subarray level STAP could suppress broadband jammer effectively; compared with conventional ADBF at subarray level (only adaptive processing in space), better null performance in the jammer direction could be achieved and output SINR could be improved remarkably. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the introduced approach.
