Abstract
A compact triple-band split ring antenna is presented. The antenna is electrically small and low profile. Its planar structure makes it easy to fabricate and integrate with other structures like AMC/EBG. The antenna operates at three frequency bands of 430MHz, 680MHz and 990MHz. It is 100mm long which corresponds to λ/7 at the lowest working frequency of 430MHz.
