  • Abstract
Profitable intangible cultural heritage refers to intangible cultural heritage that can be used to produce goods and services, and hence could make economic profit for their bearers. They are intangible, profitable, adhesive, and of historical significance. The most suitable method to evaluate profitable intangible cultural heritages is the Gain Method, which means to forecast and discount the future profits that can be produced with the intangible cultural heritage, and to take the discounted value as the economic value of it. Taking the Liulingzui Brewing Technology as an example, we evaluated its economic value and find that it is worth at least 32387271 yuan. In other words, if we lose it someday, we will lose some degree of diversity of culture, as well as at least 32387271 yuan in money.
