Abstract
The electromagnetic band gap performance of closely coupled metallodielectric electromagnetic band gap (CCMEBG) surfaces is investigated using double layer dipole and tripole arrays. We present measurements of both dipole and tripole CCMEBG array responses with regards to surface wave propagation and we make comparisons with corresponding single layer MEBG arrays.
