  • Abstract
Last year experiments of using X- and gamma-ray visualizer HERV for visualization the X-ray field of Compton scattering of knife-like X-ray beam in surface layers of opaque materials were started. This is new approach to nondestructive analysis of material. X-ray images produced in these experiments are tomographic slices and have qualitative information on structure of material without additional processing. We describe one kind of processing procedure for obtained images, which allows to reconstruct 3D density distribution of material from a set of images. The algorithm is of evolution type in nature, uses images of only two last slices and some initial information. This algorithm may be used for real time reconstruction of material density for scanning system on basis of HERV as visualization device
