Abstract
In this paper, empirical study on evolution of motivation of foreign investors´ merger and acquisition was carried out around the typical case of foreign investors´ M&A. Corporate quetionaire and Logistic Regression Model were used to analyze. The result shows that the motivation of FIMA in China has gradually change, which is not for low-priced labor force and achievement shared in stockholding way, but for realization of company´s intention of global strategic layout to pursue industry integration, resource controls, monopoly status and the eradication of potential competitors, etc. The level of intensity of foreign investors´ strategic M&A has increased. foreign investors´M&A are transferring gradually from single and scattered modes to more systematic ones.
