Lots of research focused on crisis management based on technology in China, but there was little empirical research. This study is based on quantitative and qualitative analyses of 478 Chinese enterprises more than 5 million property in Beijing and Shanghai. The results show that despite the increasing crisis consciousness in these enterprises, 65% of enterprises should improve the crisis management capacity. The number of enterprises which established complete crisis management strategy is small. In addition, there are some discrepancies among four major types of the enterprises on crisis management.
