Abstract
This paper presents the development of a pulse width modulation (PWM) controller for photovoltaics based shunt voltage source converter (VSC) for interconnection to the distribution network. Linearized model of the VSC electrical circuit is explained in detail together with the control strategy for real and reactive power support.
