  • Abstract
    On the basis of analyzing the impact of load model on frequency dynamics, a component-based load modeling method considering frequency characteristics is proposed to apply to power system frequency simulation. The proposed method has been applied to a certain enterprise with a captive power plant to make an aggregated load model. In the frequency simulation of the enterprise islanding process, the load model proposed and a more effective UFLS scheme are applied. The simulation results demonstrate that the aggregated frequency dynamic load model can describe the frequency dynamics more accurately and the UFLS scheme can help the system frequency recover more effectively.
