  • Abstract
    Implementing high performance message passing for the Paragon parallel supercomputer and its OSF/1 operating system presented many unique challenges. We chose a message passing design which complements the rich feature set of the hardware and the operating system. We show how the implementation meets the challenges while continuing to make progress in higher performance
