Abstract
Since the existing orthogonal frequency hopping (FH) sequence cannot support the high throughput and high spectrum efficiency cognitive Bluetooth network (CBN) due to its disadvantage of small family size, high computational complexity and short period, this paper investigates the generating of the orthogonal frequency hopping (FH) sequence and analyzes the multiple access performance based on the CBN frequency division multiple access (CBN-FDMA) network model. The generated orthogonal FH sequences could make the CBN system access the network with a dynamic frequency slot number and a large family size by random mapping and cyclical shift replacement (CSR) scheme. Moreover, The theoretical relationship of the throughput and transmission delay against the network user number is given. The simulation results validate our theoretical analysis of the CBN-FDMA network performance.
