Abstract
A flexible pervasive system should have the ability to adapt to handle varying resources attributes and changing user needs. In this paper, we describe an approach to implement the flexible pervasive system in which these variations are abstracted as business rules from pervasive application logic. The use of externalized business rules can more understand pervasive application logic, document business decisions through rules and have lower pervasive application maintenance costs. Finally, Experiments and examples are provided to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed method.
