Abstract
Azimuth-subaperture processing is a widely used motion compensation (MOCO) approach which reduces the influence of variable aircraft parameters. However, in high-squint SAR mode, azimuth-signal aliasing of each subaperture becomes serious and drops the quality of the final image considerably. In this paper, through the study of azimuth-subaperture spectrum extension, a modified MOCO approach is proposed to eliminate azimuth-signal aliasing. Simulations and experimental results are provided to demonstrate our proposed approach.
