  • Abstract
    At the stage of conceptual design of mechanical products, there are some multiple solutions and uncertainty problems in the process of mapping function to structure. In order to tackle these problems, limit nature of rigid body in the general coordinate system was analyzed and based on the decomposition and reconfiguration theory, conceptual design model of function- functional mode- structure was proposed, and it implemented the stability of mapping function to structure. On this basis, established product knowledge model which support conceptual design of mechanical products. Case-based reasoning technology was applied to entity matching and verified by example, which provided a new idea for the computer aided product conceptual design.
