Abstract
Summary form only given. The manner in which an external magnetic field, applied to a waveguide containing third order nonlinear optical material, and magnetooptical elements, can force bright solitons, from a state of attraction, into isolation from each other is investigated. It is shown that TE-TM conversion, a typical magnetooptics phenomenon, can be controlled by the input power. An elegant Hamiltonian analysis of the critical points of the phase space is used to prove that various stable, or unstable, regimes can be established
