Abstract
This paper is focused on the measurement of a Bode plot of a switching power converter from a single simulation in the time domain by means of a multisine signal. The proposed procedure allows an important saving in simulation time compared to a single-tone injection approach. It can be especially useful in the case of evaluating power converters with digital compensators by means of simulation tools for hardware description languages, which can only perform simulations in the time domain.
