Abstract
The use of colors in radar videos can greatly improve the `readability´ of the radar scene. Usually amplitudes are used to control the image intensity or color. This work presents the use of color video to display Doppler information in air, ground and sea surveillance radars. This enables the user to `read´ much more from a single radar image than what would be possible in a radar image without color coded Doppler information.
