  • Abstract
In this paper, a 10-bit 1-GSample/s Nyquist current-steering digital-to-analog converter (DAC) based on Carbon Nano Tube Field Effect Transistor (CNFET) technology is presented. All the basic building blocks of current-steering digital-to-analog converter are implemented by carbon nanotube field effect transistor. Supply voltages are under 1V. This design has used a pseudo-segmented structure and DAC is binary-weighted. implement basic blocks with carbon nanotube technology, lead to reduce glitch, clock feed-through and power consumption. Simulation results show that the spurious-free-dynamic-range (SFDR) in Nyquist rate is about 62dB at 250MS/s input for sampling frequency equal to 1-GS/s. Either both DNL and INL are less than 0.5 LSB.
