  • Abstract
Risks and uncertainties are ever more noted and factored into decision making today, and those stemming from logistics are prominent in the competitiveness and viability of enterprises. However, there is still a lack of research about the early warning indicator system (EWIS) of enterprise logistics risk. While supply chain management (SCM) has become such a popular topic in modern business management practices and researches, the EWIS of enterprise logistics risk should also designed on the basis of SCM philosophy. To provide insights into the establishment of the EWIS, this paper provides a review of performance index system of enterprise logistics. Then the design approaches and principles are explored respectively. Based on these, a referring EWIS of enterprise logistics risk based on SCM is proposed, in which the calculation methods for indicators are provided. Finally, a synthetic evaluation method is introduced to evaluate logistics risk.
