  • Abstract
Fe3O4 granules is dispersed into chitosan acidic solution and remove chitosan/Fe3O4 mixed liquor in basic situation, which obtains chitosan magnetic microsphere. And then the magnetic chitosan and the cationic monomer Polypropylene amine (CPAM) are modified by graft copolymerization reaction to prepare a high effective fashion flocculants (CAM). The product structure of graft copolymerization for chitosan and CPAM, the Zeta potential, the adaptability analysis of pH values, and so on, would be discussed in the study, and through flocculants tests on the wastewater of vinegar, the results show that when the dosage of CAM was 30 mg·L-1, the removal rate of turbidity reaches over 90%, the settling velocity is up to O.55 cm·s-1, the removal rate of COD is over 90 %, the flocculation performance of CAM is superior to that of chitosan and PFS.
