My memories about the book: Microwave filters, impedance-matching networks, and coupling structures

More than fifty years ago I was involved into research and development of microwave circuits based on the waveguide technology. At the beginning of my work I had the opportunity to be visiting researcher at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. During my stay there I heard about the book entitled: “Microwave filters, impedance-matching networks, and coupling structures”. I felt that was the book which we needed for our work indeed and bought it immediately. I was right; we used the book called as “Black Bible” for many years.
