Research on Digital Highway System and Its Architecture

Digital highway is an important component of digital traffic. The research of digital highway and the building of the intellectualized digital highway system platform are reliable technology guarantee of traffic informatization. In this paper, by the researches of the digital highway information constitution, the characteristics, the intelligent client computing model and the data warehouse architecture used subject-oriented and so on, the complete establishing program of the digital highway system were proposed, and it is benefit for to eliminate the problem of information islands and to provide an effective decision analysis and technical support in the field of traffic information.
