Abstract
In this paper we present a novel approach to cope with the mirroring problem for indoor localization. The suggested method is particularly suitable for Time-Difference-Of-Arrival (TDOA) based systems and can be implemented in locating systems with closely spaced receiving antennas (or base stations). Practical measurements are presented, showing the effectiveness of the algorithm in principle. The goal of this paper is solely to verify the described concept, better results might be achieved using optimal antennas.
