Abstract
Field emission (FE) characteristics of the screen printed ZnO nanowires film were measured. A turn-on voltage for driving a current density of 1 μA/cm was about 5 V/am. To improve the FE properties of screen printed ZnO nanowires, a small scale of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) mixed-ZnO nanowires composite film was presented. A remarkable FE enhancement of screen printed composite film of CNTs-mixed ZnO nanowires was found compared to that of the intrinsic ZnO nanowires.
