Abstract
Motor disability is one of the most pressing health issues, that is why there is a great interest in the development of tools helping patients who suffer a temporary disability to have a proper rehabilitation, otherwise could result in a permanent disability of the patient. Mechanotherapy is one of the most common therapies and the pulleys apparatus is one of the most used tools due to their effectiveness and versatility. However it is based purely with mechanical elements. The developed system allows to monitoring the pulleys apparatus during a rehabilitation sessions at the same time that records the evolution of patient in a virtual environment.
