Abstract
In high performance computing field, Volunteer computing model (VCM) is playing an important role. Current volunteer computing systems are essentially center-based, which may lead to some scalability and accessibility problems. In this paper, a new cooperative server group based Volunteer Computing Platform called P2HP, which overwhelms the disadvantages of VCM, is presented. P2HP supports different kind of parallel applications with several task relation graphs. P2HP is open, ease of use, scalable, fault tolerance and platform independent. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of this platform, a serial of experiments were done. The results obtained from performance analysis show that certain kinds of parallel application can benefit a lot from P2HP.
