Abstract
A novel Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) wavelength demodulation scheme based on self-calibration algorithm is introduced. The theoretical principle and detailed algorithm are described. The algorithm has the characteristic of piecewise linearization and self-calibration. An adjustable unitary parameter is introduced and the wavelength is piecewise linearly mapped, which make the demodulation system accurate, stable and sensitivity-tunable to attain an expect value of sensitivity.
