Abstract
This paper presents a new two stage hybrid space-time adaptive processing (STAP) algorithm, which combine space-time multiple-beam (STMB) architecture and direct data domain (DDD) approach. The proposed two stage hybrid algorithm use the direct data domain approach as the first stage to suppress discrete interference in the range cell under test and use STMB method as the second stage to suppress the residue correlated interference. Therefore this approach takes advantage of the DDD and STMB method and alleviates their drawback, so it can suppress discrete interference and correlated interference simultaneously.
