Abstract
In this contribution we present the results of a channel measurement campaign carried out in indoor hall scenarios with 2 GHz bandwidth centered at 72 GHz. Horn antennas of the same type were employed at both the transmitter and the receiver. Frequency responses have been captured when the Rx horn antenna swept at 36 azimuth and 3 elevation angles with 10° interval. Then, coherence bandwidths are calculated from the frequency correlation function at 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 correlation levels. The variations of coherence bandwidth with respect to the azimuth of arrival, elevation of arrival, and the distance between the transmitter and the receiver were analyzed. The statistical characteristics observed are modeled by fitting regression lines or probability density functions with analytical expressions to the empirical data.
