Abstract
The main focus of this paper is to determine university teachers´ perceptions on the benefits of the Internet for teaching and learning activities. Research results indicate that most university teachers do not use the Internet for teaching activities even though it encourages students to learn more. In addition, t-test and ANOVA results revealed that there were few differences in using the Internet for teaching activities in terms of university teachers´ age, educational level, Internet connection at home, and academic position.
