Abstract
We present a framework for machine learning that is based on, or more accurately, inspired from, concepts taken from the natural process of biological evolution. Currently, there exist many such evolutionary computational approaches to machine learning. The approach presented differs radically from these approaches; by taking a very abstract and general viewpoint to the process of evolutionary computation we arrive at some very remarkable and general results. This new approach and its accompanying results are presented
