Abstract
The leakage characteristics of a new millimeter-wave omnidirectional circular rod antenna with double dielectric gratings are analyzed by an improved perturbation method. It is found that under the condition of the same dimension of the antenna, the double dielectric gratings antenna has more radiation intensity than that of the single one. Its accuracy has been verified with the exact solution based on the mode matching method.
