Abstract
We analyze effects of measurement delays induced by a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver on a strapdown inertial navigation system (SDINS). Using basic properties of the Kalman filter (KF) and equilibrium conditions between onboard KF error states, a detailed investigation on the mechanism that generates a false forward accelerometer bias was performed
