Abstract
Wavelength selectivity and temperature insensitivity of fiber Bragg gratings are simultaneously achieved by using a bending bimetal structure with a spring. The Bragg wavelength shift is less than 0.1 nm from -20/spl deg/C to 80/spl deg/C and the switching wavelength range can be 0.8 nm with the switching time less than 8 ms.
