  • Abstract
    As one of the mobile robots, intelligent wheelchair is used to assist the daily life of the old people and the handicapped. Thanks to be short of systematical design and a method and tool of earlier stage analysis, there are more control innovation than functional innovation about intelligent wheelchair in market. This study explodes the research situation and design feature, and improve the KISS system (a network-based Kansei image survey system) to experiment on wheelchair´s functional orientation of earlier stage design. According to the analysis of experimental data, the study proves the feasibility of the system and forecasts the development tendency of intelligent wheelchair´s functional innovation.
