  • Abstract
    The technologies of developing monitoring software are briefly summarized. Now that there are many powerful applications, the solution to developing monitoring software based on multi-application´s cooperation is brought forward. In the solution, several applications are combined by the data traffic between them to accomplish the development of monitoring software together. With OLE Automation, the cooperation of Microsoft Visual Basic to Access, Excel and Word is realized, and suc-cessfully applied to the development of monitoring software in transformer substation monitoring system. The theoretic analysis and practice show that multi-application´s cooperation can largely reduce development´s workload, and is very convenient for professional development, enhancing application´s quality and application´s upgrade and open.
