Abstract
In this paper is presented investigation of process that is responsible for broadening into blue and UV region - Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS). For this purposes analytical relation for description SRS dependent on fiber and pump parameters is presented. Dependences on fiber parameters have linear character, except refractive index relation, which have clearly defined peak. Experimental results have correlation with theory and show next relation between SRS components intensity and spectral width: increasing pump power SRS spectra become flatter and pumping in anomalous regime near zero group velocity dispersion can provide widest spectrum.
