Abstract
Distortion otoacoustic emissions (DPOEs) properties which allow them to serve as diagnostic tests for functions of the inner ear and brain-stem auditory pathways. The present study implemented a new system for continuously recording and analyzing DPOEs. Such a system should be better able to measure the recently documented phenomenon of efferent-mediated adaptation of DPOEs, thereby enhancing the diagnostic value of the method
