  • Abstract
If the engineering is considered as an organic life, it has the hereditary problems during its life cycle. The paper establishes the hereditary mechanism model of the engineering to explain the reason of difference among the life of engineering based on the biology central dogma which is one of the most important principles of biology. Engineering culture, engineering mechanism/technology and engineering entity are corresponding to biological macromolecules of DNA, RAN and protein respectively. There are process of replication, transcription and translation among the three parties. The hereditary principle provides a fresh view to investigate the information transformation principle among each element and the function and evolution mechanism of engineering system, and a theoretical frame to inherit and reconstruct good engineering.
