  • Abstract
    An in-line dynamic gain equalizer configuration is proposed and simulated within the context of a 8-channel WDM network. It is shown that the number and location of in-line gain equalizers used in the network are important issues concerning the improvement of the OSNR profile in the considered waveband, besides their fundamental power levelling characteristic.
