Empirical analysis of corporate governance based on Shenzhen GEM listed companies—Based on entropy weight method

We set up the corporate governance evaluation index system from the ownership structure, the board of directors, managers, board of supervisors, information disclosure and company business performance, which consists of six aspects and eighteen indexes. We determine the weight of each index by using the entropy weight method, and then evaluate corporate governance of the GEM companies. We can see that the GEM´s corporate governance is not ideal, the main factors that matter includes the board of directors, managers and the board of supervisors, so we put forward some suggestions to improve the corporate governance of listed company in Shenzhen GEM: improving board of directors system, playing the role of professional managers and strengthening the supervision functions of board of supervisors.
