  • Abstract
    The regional recognition based on urban culture is essentially about the design of city image as well as in a rapidly changing and keenly competitive environment. In order to solve the culture characteristic recognition and inheriting problem of a city, the work presented in this paper focuses on proposing an analysis and construction method of cultural characteristic element design DNA, which could be employed to mold the urban image. Then the construct system of characteristic design DNA of city in visual identity was present and the key technologies and the forming course of regional characteristic cultural elements were analyzed. Finally, Kensei engineering methods is used to achieve the visual sense of quantity. Through experiments and statistical analysis of results, the regional characteristic cultural elements image database is created.
