Abstract
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems play a paramount role in the operation of electrical power systems. In this paper, two monitoring systems are developed and applied for self-sufficient hybrid systems based on renewable energy and hydrogen. Siemens WinCC flexible and National Instruments LabVIEW software packages have been used. The first one runs in an operator panel linked with a PLC. For the LabVIEW-based SCADA, a data acquisition card collects sensors information. Their main features and capabilities for local and remote use are exposed.Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems play a paramount role in the operation of electrical power systems.
