  • Abstract
This study is to determine the influence of creative thinking instruction information technology integrated into the mechanical professional subjects of vocational high schools. This research has adopted the "nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design" in quasi-experiment design. The study instruments include: The "Torrance creative thinking ability" and questionnaire survey on the learning reactions. Such statistic methods have used the one-way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), frequency distribution, etc. From the study results, it has been found that: 1. The students\´ creative thinking abilities have contributed significantly more in originality and elaboration of figural creative thinking abilities than the students in the control group. 2. The students\´ creative thinking abilities have contributed significantly more in the fluency, flexibility, and originality of verbal creative thinking abilities than the students in control group. 3. The students have profound experiences in the topics related to creativity and have provided positive feedbacks. 4. The teachers must establish a learning environment and study constantly in order to link the teaching methods covered in the teaching material and real life. The students\´ creativity has been effectively improved through evaluations throughout the entire learning process, and the products have been completed concurrently.
