  • Abstract
    A Monte Carlo ray tracing and the ANSYS FEM package have been used to predict the optical and structural behavior in an end-pumped CW quasi-three-level Yb:YAG thin disk lasers. In this model the absorbed power, temperature, displacement, stress and strain distributions inside the crystal have been calculated.
