Objective: Explore the effect of mental health on the physiological disease susceptibility (prevalence rate) of college students and provide scientific basis for psychological counsel, physical and mental health education, disease prevention, psychological treatment of college students. Methods: The psychological health conditions and physiological diseases (prevalence rate) of college students were investigated by the method of questionnaire survey using self evaluation table of psychological symptoms (SCL-90 items) and physical symptoms form (30 items). Results: With the analysis of SCL (SCL-90 items) questionnaires of 246 college students, 53 with positive character and 193 with negative. This data was differentiated by comparing with the national normal value. Using the group analysis method of Physiological symptoms, it was found that the prevalence rate of college students with mental disorder (positive group) and the students without mental disorder (negative group) was 73.77% and 27.72%. There was a remarkable difference (P <;0.01) of physiological disease susceptibility between the positive group and the negative group. Conclusion: The prevalence rate of college Students with mental disorder was much higher than the rate of college students without mental disorder.
