Abstract
The mean value engine model is mainly used in developing gasoline engine control systems. In this paper, the author introduce the intake manifold sub-model and throttle body sub-model of mean value engine model, and coupled with a mathematic model of the basic fuel injection pulse width by MATLAB/SIMULINK Obtained a electronic control system basic MAP diagram of Renault E6 single cylinder research engine by simulation, the results showed a good agreement with the theoretical analysis and test results. This model can be used as EFI Transformation of a gasoline engine. The MAP diagram obtained can be used as the initial MAP diagram to ensure engine running and shorten the modification period of the engine EFI system.
