Abstract
We demonstrate strong coupling between Bloch surface waves in a Ta2O5/SiO2 multilayer and J-aggregate excitons. The measured Rabi splitting is 290 meV. The mode dispersion curves are investigated by means of attenuated-total-reflection and photoluminescence experiments.
